A few minutes drive to the Miners Rest Tavern, where you can get a traditional
home cooked pub meal; the IGA Supermarket; the local Miners Rest General Store
which caters for all post office needs and does great take-away meals.
Wander a few minutes further to the pretty little town of Learmonth. Visit the
fabulous “Café 321” for a lovely lunch overlooking the lake and buy quality,
local produce to take home. Bring your boat to enjoy water sports on the newly
filled Lake Learmonth, which is open for waterskiing, windsurfing & all
water-sports.
A short 15 minute drive will take you into the centre of historic Ballarat where
you can enjoy all the delights this beautiful city has to offer. Visit the art
gallery; botanical gardens & lake; wildlife park and Sovereign Hill to name a
