The Friends of the Ballarat Botanical Gardens
was founded in 1982 and became an incorporated body in
1993. The history of the Gardens has been researched and a number of
activities undertaken for the benefit of the Gardens within a botanical
perspective.
A number of groups actively promote the Gardens and involve the community
in scientific, educational, historical, cultural, and recreational
functions.
A monthly newsletter is sent to members and quarterly general meetings
with a guest speaker are held at The Robert Clark Centre Centre.
