Precinct 7 - Lake Lodge

This is the area opposite the main entrance to the Botancial Gardens and includes Pipers on the Parade Restaurant & Kiosk, the Almeida Pavilion and the ferry mooring. The beauty of distant views across the water to the twin mountains of Warrenheip and Buninyong attracts artists and photographers to this area.

The precinct now hosts the monthly Ballarat Farmers Market - held on the 4th Saturday of the month from 9am - 1pm.

The Swan Pool near Pipers on the Parade was once the home of introduced white swans which were outcompeted by the native black swans. The walk around the Swan Pool is ever so attractive.
