Ferguson Plarre are ‘Specialist Cake and Pastry Makers’ and have been
baking magnificent cakes for celebrations for over 100 years.
They are famous for their desserts, great pies, tiddly oggies, wedding cakes
and decorated cakes
for all occasions
The Fergusons commenced their business in 1901 and the Plarres in 1911 and soon
became household names.
In 1980 they merged to become ‘Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses’.
Café -
Relax and dine in
our bright and cosy airconditioned Bakery-Cafe'. Take Away is
available for those lunches on the run!
On offer are delicious cakes and pastries that
have won awards in State and National Competitions. These include 10
varieties of Pies, 5 varieties of Tiddly Oggies (proper pastie) and
a huge range of mouth watering and beautifully displayed cakes.
We also provide freshly cut sandwiches, rolls, foccacias and wraps
from our sandwich bar or you may want to just take time out for a soothing coffee, hot
chocolate, Twinings Tea or a cool drink on a hot day.
Family sized Pastries/Quiches/Desserts are also available for those
time pressed dinners! ! !

We have the experience and the recipe to create the perfect cake for your special day.
We welcome you into our store to have a coffee and a leisurely
browse through at least 50 different styles of cakes or we can assist you in designing the cake of your choice.
