Highland Trout Lakes is a small privately owned flyfishery, consisting of four spring fed lakes with over 3 kilometres of meandering shoreline set amongst native bush. The fish start life in our own private hatchery, from selected stock and thrive on the abundance of aquatic life from the springfed lakes.
The fishery has been designed and developed with the flyfishing enthusiast in mind. It is dedicated solely to catch and release flyfishing.
Bookings are essential. If a party of three of more book for the day, they will receive exclusive use of the four flyfishing lakes.
Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea is provided. No closed season, no licence required.
