This quaint miner's
cottage consists of two bedrooms, lounge/dining room,
sitting room, kitchen and bathroom.

The
Lounge has a cosy open fire, set for your arrival, with
comfortable armchairs. Just the place to toast your toes (and
some marshmallows) after a day visiting some of Ballarat’s
famous attractions. Or maybe after taking advantage of
Ballarat’s great array of sporting facilities, just relaxing and
enjoying some wine purchased from one of the many excellent
local wineries. T.V., stereo and plenty of games for all ages
are provided. |
Two bedrooms, both with
antique beds, doonas and electric blankets. The main bedroom
(one double and one single bed) has been papered with old
newspapers and the ceiling covered with hessian. The second
bedroom has two single beds. The sofa bed can sleep an extra
child or two. A cot can also be provided on request.

The pine lined Bathroom with pressed
metal ceiling and a luxurious deep claw foot bath is just
the thing to ease the stresses of modern living.

Lalor Cottage is situated in a quiet laneway
within sight of the Sovereign Hill Poppet Head and a leisurely 5 minute
walk to the Sovereign Hill Historic Complex. A 3 minute walk will bring
you to several eateries – restaurant and take-aways.
TO FIND US:
Go south along Geelong Rd , instead of turning right to Sovereign Hill
Historical Park at roundabout, turn left into Lal Lal street and then
right into Linaker Lane (not Linaker St.)
