Moonbeam Newsletter - Edition 3 Welcome to the third edition of the "Moonbeam" Newsletter which will hopefully keep everyone abreast of Moonbeam Cottages developments. As you know our Rainbow Gallery Cafe/Restaurant opened last year with Sasha & Andrew Ward as mine hosts. Since November 2005 Lyn Antonio has been managing the restaurant whilst being professionally assisted by chef Nicole Anderson. The Rainbow Gallery has hosted several weddings as well as anniversaries and special events to date. Live music on the deck was encouraged by Sasha & Andrew through the efforts of Craig Summerfield of Summerfield Winery. As a mark of respect the sensational dining and viewing deck has been named after the late Craig Summerfield. We all salute you, our true friend.
The bridal party in the second wedding were driven in 3 local convertibles which amazed the guests. On a sader note Jackson passed away in August 2005 and we have dedicated a nursery garden to her. I do miss her so much. Hernie is now retired and resides in Talbot. K for Cat now rules the roost - a grey & white stray. Lyn has toiled in the cottage & Gallery gardens but the extremely dry conditions make it difficult. However her roses at the restaurant are magnificent. I must acknowledge my loyal staff including Tam, Nicole, Beck, Glenda, Paul and most of all my loyal friend Lyn. We all appreciated Andrew & Sasha's efforts in the restaurant and we all get a buzz whenever they return. Cheers to all and thank-you all so much for your support and patronage . the completion of the Rainbow Chapel/Nursery in 2006 we hosted 2
weddings in February. Both were memorable events - the first engaged our
Porsche delivering the bride intact inside the chapel proper to the
delight of our guests.
