FESTIVAL OF FINE MUSIC FINISHES WITH A FLOURISH!

The Eighteenth annual Organs of the Ballarat Goldfields Festival came to an exciting climax with a spirited performance of the Misa Criolla by Argentinean composer Arial Ramirez proving once again that the Festival offers much, much more than music for the pipe organ.

Festival 2013 featured performances for cello, flute, oboe, lute and voice, a Spanish dancer, a jazz pianist and much more which demonstrates the wide variety of musical choice available.

 For interest the 2013 programme will remain on the website until the new programme is announced later in the year.

Festival 2013 will commence in St Patrick's Cathedral, Ballarat on Friday, 11 January at 8pm and finish on Sunday, 20 January with the final recital also in St Patrick's Cathedral at 8pm.
The program appears below and it once again features classical music to suit all tastes ... and a few surprises!
