Located in
the historic Camp Street arts precinct in Central Ballarat opposite
the University of Ballarat city campus, the Phoenix Brewery offers a dining experience unique to the city of
Ballarat.
Owner / operator Andrew Flockart operates a versatile space
incorporating formal dining, private functions and a fresh metro bar
style.
An extensive wine list by both bottle and glass accompanies the
menu of modern Australian cuisine. With a pronounced European
influence, the Phoenix Brewery also offers Ballarat an introduction

On street level, the wall-sized gabled windows can open to create
the perfect leaning spot for a glass of pinot gris at dusk during
the warm afternoons of autumn and summer. Chairs and tables on the
footpath cater for those who prefer to dine alfresco on those warmer
days and evenings.
Downstairs the contemporary refurbishment of the
bluestone cellar bar provides a flexible function space, with
private bar, for groups from twenty to eighty.
