Springmount Pottery is set in
thirteen acres of natural bushland near Creswick. It is apparent that this setting has
been the inspiration for the Ashware and other Springmount designs.
A superb pottery gallery located in a natural bush
setting specialising in Australian ceramics, Ashware, jewellery, fine art,
wildlife paintings and the famous Springmount Pottery range. Stylish, stunning and
functional objects for yourself, your home or someone special. A complimentary coffee is
available on arrival.

The hand-carved Ashware is characterised by soft
earthy tones, with indentations finely etched in a darker colour on each individual piece.
The name Ashware is derived from the various
semi-matt coloured glazes developed by combining hardwood ash with clay and oxides of
iron, cobalt, and titanium. Designs native to Australia are featured. These include
Flowering Gum, Kookaburras, Honeyeaters, Blue Wrens or Koalas. Honeyeaters are also
featured with either Correa or Apple Blossom. Other designs include Bush Iris, Rose and
Native Fuschia.
